Richest Person In the World 2020

The world is in the hold of a pandemic. Dwellers are working at home, giving furloughed. Unemployment offices are overwhelmed with record numbers of applicants. But the Institute for Policy Studies reported this month that between March 18 and April 29, billionaires in the U.S. saw their wealth growth by more than $406 billion. So times are good, even… relying on how many zeroes you own to the right of the number in your bank account balance. Here are, the Richest Person In the World 2020.

1. JEFF BEZOS

Bezos – the founder and CEO of Amazon – reportedly lost billions when the stock market crashed in March. But since then, Amazon stock has recovered all of its value and then some. How rich is Bezos? Gratitude to their divorce settlement, his ex-wife is the 19th richest person in the world. She’s pledged to give at least half of it away.

2. BILL GATES

The co-founder and retired chairman, CEO, and president of Microsoft strolled down from his administration post in 2014 and has committed himself to philanthropic work via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He strode down as a board member of Microsoft in March and is paying $300 million to support efforts to fight the coronavirus.

3. BERNARD ARNAULT

Arnault is chairperson and CEO of Paris-based LVMH Moet Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE, the world’s biggest luxury goods corporation. Among the brands, LVMH owns rules: Le Bon Marché department shops, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hennessy, Tiffany, Thomas Pink, Emilio Pucci, TAG Heuer, Sephora, and DKNY.

4. MARK ZUCKERBERG

Of these five rich gentlemen, you probably understand this one most suitable for the path he was (fairly accurately) described in the 2010 film “The Social Network.” Zuckerberg established what was called “Thefacebook” in 2004 as a researcher at Harvard. Today, Facebook holds more than 2.5 billion active monthly users and getting $70.7 billion in earnings annually.

5. WARREN BUFFETT

The “Oracle of Omaha” is considered as one of the most intelligent investors of all time. Buffett heads Berkshire Hathaway, which owns more than 60 companies including Geico, Duracell, and Dairy Queen. He’s vowed to give away 99% of his wealth. Last year, he contributed $3.6 billion to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
